Services
A Clinical Diagnostic Assessment by a Qualified Specialist (QS) is required to access provincial funding support. This assessment includes the Autism Diagnosis Interview (ADI) and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
Children under 6 years
$2500
This fee includes all components of the Clinical Diagnostic assessment (the ADI and ADOS) as well as completion of the formal report and MCFD paperwork.
Children in this age group also require 2 more assessments that must be obtained before I am able to book your child for the assessment:
1. Psychological Assessment - Testing of cognitive and adaptive functioning. This can be obtained through a private assessment from registered psychologist.
2. Speech Language Pathology Assessment - This can be obtained from a private SLP.
3. Medical assessment - This can be completed by your child’s pediatrician.
Children 6 - 15 years
$2500
This fee includes all components of the Clinical Diagnostic assessment (the ADI and ADOS) as well as completion of the formal report and MCFD paperwork.
A medical assessment must also be completed by your child’s pediatrician before I am able to book your child for the assessment:
At present, assessments over age 15 are not being offered.
Disability tax credit (DTC)
$200
The family of a child diagnosed with ASD may qualify for a disability tax credit. This fee includes completion of the DTC paperwork.
